Giampiero Tagliaferri A seating system that exudes sophisticated sensuality: overlapping volumes, punctuated by unexpected geometric cuts, designed to occupy space with freedom and purpose. A subtle reference to abstract patterns reminiscent of constellations, where independent elements are arranged according to an order defined by orthogonal and oblique axes. The configurations shift, break apart, and reassemble through a versatile array of linear and polygonal modules - rectangular, square, and trapezoidal - creating ever-evolving domestic landscapes. Its modern style is refined, never overt. Rigour coexists with supple elegance, inspired by the fluidity of the diagonal forms and the rhythm of the tilted surfaces: inviting shapes, graceful lines with a dynamic look, crafted first to caress the body and then to steal the spotlight. With carefully calibrated proportions and an elevated aesthetic, the system stands out for its generous seat cushions, defined by a stitching that converges inwards and a quilted finishing that enhances the graphic appeal, while providing superior comfort. The backrest, resting on the seat, accentuates the piece’s longitudinal development and is finished with tone-on-tone double stitching in an envelope-style layout. Echoes of John Lautner’s architecture emerge in the overall spatial vision: modules that interact like autonomous micro-architectures, free from conventional sche mes. The project is completed with integrated surfaces that merge discreetly, maintaining a pure, uninterrupted flow. Each configuration rests on a perimeter frame with rounded corners, in chrome or Black Coffee–finished metal or upholstered in leather, while the recessed base lifts it off the floor, creating a floating effect. Every detail is distinctive. Stitchings, joints, and profiles reflect a design ethos that merges furniture, architecture, and graphics into one coherent gesture, conveying a delicate balance between memory and contemporary elegance: a quiet manifesto of elegant, fluid and unconventional living.
