The coffee table is conceived as a compact, rigorous volume, defined by clean surfaces and a 45-degree bevel, corresponding to the open compartments, that precisely outlines its profile. Its presence integrates seamlessly among upholstered elements or next to a sofa, where it can also feature an open compartment, introducing a functional character without altering the purity of its form. Available in both square and rectangular versions, in wood with folding construction or in lacquered finish, Lucile rests on a recessed steel base with a polished chrome finish, enhancing its subtle sense of lightness above the floor. When placed in front of the sofa, it maintains the same shapes and finishes, with a matt black metal support element. It can be configured with different combinations of open compartments and drawers, modulating a balanced interplay of solids and voids. The rectangular variant can incorporate a metal element with a double open compartment, internally finished in wood or lacquer, paired with a larger wooden volume. The dialogue between different materials introduces a more dynamic and refined feel of the composition. Alongside the orthogonal shapes, an octagonal variant is also offered, characterized by four open compartments along the sides, adding a more unexpected geometry while maintaining the same constructional coherence.
