Diagramma Wood
Coffee table
Collection: Diagramma Wood
Description
Giampiero Tagliaferri Diagramma Wood includes a desk, console tables and coffee tables presenting a family of complementary furnishings that originate from the design research of the Diagramma collection, reinterpreting its principles in a new functional articulation. The writing desk is distinguished by a curvilinear design with a continuous angular flow, defining a dynamic and ergonomic character. The matt-finished wooden construction is contrasted by convex-profile legs in bent polished steel, creating a sense of visual lightness and contrast between materials. It incorporates a drawer and an open compartment, while the top, also in wood, completes the tactile experience and formal continuity of the piece. The console tables, conceived as coordinated elements, echoe its distinctive features, finishes and construction details, reinterpreted in a more compact vertical proportion. Offered in two lengths, it is a versatile object, suitable for standalone use or for overlapping arrangements, thanks to its reduced height that allows it to be positioned beneath the writing desk. Its internal configuration includes a drawer, as well as one or two storage compartments depending on the size; in the version with dual compartments, a central divider structures the layout with compositional rigour. Completing the range, the Diagramma coffee tables are characterised by monolithic forms crafted entirely from solid wood in a variety of finishes, available in five sizes. The material envelops the entire piece – from the top to the perimeter edge and down to the base – lending it a sculptural and compact appearance that complements the overall design language. By nature and formal approach, all pieces integrate seamlessly into home-office environments and study spaces, while also finding a coherent place in living and night areas, where they blend in discreetly.
