Varaschin at Salone del Mobile 2026 — Italian outdoor furniture with character
The brand with 70 years of history presented an outdoor furniture collection combining traditional weaving with contemporary structures.
Varaschin has been making outdoor furniture in the Veneto since 1955 — one of Italy's oldest outdoor brands. Salone 2026 proved that age is no obstacle to staying relevant.
The 2026 collection centres on weaving: hand-woven synthetic rattan on aluminium frames. But unlike the mass market, at Varaschin weaving is a craft. Patterns are complex, density is high, cushions sewn in Sunbrella with anti-mould treatment.
New: a series combining weaving and terracotta inserts. A very Mediterranean story — as if the furniture were made for a seaside villa. Which is essentially true.
Varaschin also offers dining groups with ceramic tops in marble patterns — practical and beautiful simultaneously.
