A collective of brands from Brazil and Portugal presented outdoor furniture with a tropical soul and European quality.
IBTW was a collective stand bringing together several outdoor furniture manufacturers from Brazil and Portugal. At Salone 2026 it was a chance to see how tropical aesthetics meet European production standards.
The Brazilian participants brought furniture in natural woods — FSC-certified eucalyptus and Brazilian teak. Silhouettes are organic, slightly relaxed — that tropical energy that is hard to replicate.
The Portuguese brands focused on weaving from natural fibres: seagrass, sisal, reed. Very durable materials with proper care, creating a completely distinctive texture in a space.
