In the Alps, Guillaume Lopez was touched by the giant trees, seemingly invincible but, once fallen, showing the traces of both prosperity and hardship in their growth rings. His dining table ‘Silva’ reflects this play between tough and vulnerable through the subtle colour variations in the oak veneer, with the dark graining as a testament to a long life.
