In 2016 the new Roma Convention Center - La Nuvola, located in the Eur district of Rome, was opened to the public. The complex provided the Italian capital with a modern conference centre that is able to host various types of events, from conferences and trade fairs through to exhibitions and shows. The centre occupies an area of around 55,000 m2 and includes an underground space featuring the smaller auditorium halls, the meeting rooms, related facilities and a car park, the so-called “Nuvola” auditorium with 1800-seat capacity and a 441-room hotel.
